Terms of service

These terms apply when you use BaseLab or buy an optional BaseLab service. You are contracting with ImpactWise Fund Managers, an ImpactWise initiative ("we"). By using BaseLab you agree to them.

Free for everyone

Seeing tenders, receiving tender documents, bidding, membership, tender alerts by email, WhatsApp and SMS, the Supplier Passport, the watchlist and the Bid coach are free. No buyer may ask you to pay to bid. Paying for any service never changes how you are shown to buyers.

Paid services

• Optional paid services are Compliance Desk products and plans, and hub desk rental.
• Prices are shown in Namibian dollars. Card payments may be charged in South African rand at the same amount (N$1 = R1). Your bank may add fees.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our card orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics follow the Paddle Buyer Terms.

Fair use

Do not use BaseLab unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with its security (malware, probing, scraping). BaseLab's software, content and brand remain ours.

Your account

Keep your details accurate and your password private. We may suspend or close accounts for serious breaches, non-payment, security or fraud risk, posting false notices, misusing other members' data or trying to charge suppliers to bid.

Service and liability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Tender information comes from buyers; we check it where we can but cannot guarantee it. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months.
